Terms of Service

Welcome to Epona. By using our app, website, or bot services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Epona, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Epona is a dream journaling application that allows you to:
- Record and organize your dreams via the iOS app, web portal, or messaging bots (Telegram, LINE)
- Generate AI-powered visualizations and artistic representations of your dreams
- Receive AI-powered dream analysis and interpretation
- Share dreams with the Epona community
- Sync your dream journal across devices via Epona Cloud
3. User Accounts
You must sign in with Apple (iOS) or create an account via email (web) to access certain features. You may also link your Telegram or LINE account to your Epona account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Credits
- Free Trial: One-time gift of 100 credits for AI generation
- Guardian Monthly: Subscription with monthly credits, billed monthly
- Guardian Annual: Subscription with annual credits, billed annually
- Credit Packs: One-time purchase credits that never expire
Subscriptions are managed through Apple and subject to Apple's subscription terms. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Unused annual credits do not roll over to the next year.
Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Current Subscription Plans
- Epona Guardian Monthly: Monthly subscription with bonus credits for AI dream image generation, billed monthly.
- Epona Guardian Annual: Annual subscription with bonus credits for AI dream image generation, billed annually.
5. AI-Generated Content
Epona uses third-party AI services to generate dream visualizations, analyses, and background images. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated images and analyses are provided for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only.
- AI dream interpretations do not constitute professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.
- AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or aligned with your expectations.
- We are not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on AI-generated content.
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all dream content you create. By using the AI generation feature, you grant us a limited license to process your dream descriptions for image generation and analysis.
Generated images are created for your personal use. You may share them freely, but commercial use may be subject to additional terms.
7. Community Guidelines
When publishing dreams to the Epona community, you agree that your content:
- Does not contain illegal, abusive, threatening, or harassing material
- Does not contain sexually explicit or graphically violent content
- Does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Does not contain spam, advertising, or misleading information
We use automated content moderation and reserve the right to remove any community content that violates these guidelines or applicable laws, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to generate inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content
- Circumvent content moderation or safety systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without authorization
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. AI generation features depend on third-party service availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
Epona is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the app or by email.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
